E-Learning St John Ambulance

For many of us, more time at home may mean more time to focus on personal or professional development. With the help of an online learning environment, St John Ambulance is now offering a blended First Aid Course to allow certificate holders to update their knowledge, or for first time students to receive on-demand training.

Why choose online learning?

Blended learning programs are designed for professionals and individuals who benefit from independent study, have taken first aid before, or are unable to attend in-person. Blended learning solutions allow students to tailor the time spent doing first aid training around their schedule, making first aid training accessible.

As the first organization in Ontario to offer WSIB approved Blended Learning Solutions for courses such as first aid, CPR & AED training, it's never been easier to obtain or update your certification with St John Ambulance.

As part of the comprehensive Standard First Aid (SFA) blended program, students complete training over the course of two days; one in-class, the other online. In response to work interruptions caused by COVID-19, St John Ambulance is now allowing students 90 days from the date of completion of the online portion to complete their in-class requirements at their local St John Ambulance branch. This is a great option for those looking to get a head start on training.

For a limited time*, students can take advantage of free online First Aid Awareness training (valued at $14.95). This web-based course is designed to refresh participants with the knowledge to confidently handle basic emergency situations until medical help arrives.

The St John Ambulance difference

St John Ambulance is a registered charitable organization, meaning net proceeds from your purchase go directly to cover volunteer programs in Niagara. Last year, St John Ambulance Medical First Responders attended over 300 events and treated over 500 people in the Niagara Region.
