- Be patient: Farm vehicles are legally limited to 40 km/h and often cannot go faster given their size and load. They're moving as quickly as they safely can.
- Stay alert: Farm equipment is large and wide, sometimes wider than they appear. Operators may have limited visibility of surrounding traffic. Give them time and space so they can move around the road safely.
- Give extra space: Some farm vehicles carry loads exceeding 2,000 lbs. Their size and weight significantly impact braking distance and reaction time. Stay back, stay visible, and never assume they can stop quickly.
