Welcoming Our 2025 Community Boost Partners: Habitat for Humanity Niagara & Autism Ontario – South Region

Written by CAA Niagara | Jun 30, 2025 4:22:16 PM

At CAA Niagara, our commitment to community goes far beyond the roadside. Through our Community Boost program, we partner with local organizations that are making real, lasting differences in the lives of Niagara residents.

Each year, two charities are selected by our employees to receive a $10,000 donation, volunteer and marketing support, and a custom-wrapped CAA Niagara tow truck that spreads awareness for their cause throughout the region. It’s one of our most meaningful initiatives — and one we’re proud to grow year after year.

For 2025, we’re thrilled to welcome Habitat for Humanity Niagara and Autism Ontario – South Region to the Community Boost family.

Building Homes and Sustainability with Habitat for Humanity Niagara

Habitat for Humanity Niagara has been creating opportunities for affordable homeownership in our region since 1993. Their work is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves a safe and decent place to live.

Beyond homebuilding, Habitat is a champion of sustainability through their ReStores. By accepting and reselling donated furniture, appliances, and renovation materials, ReStores divert thousands of tonnes of waste from landfills annually — while generating funds that directly support Habitat’s mission.

With 79 homes built and over 288 children served to date, their impact is already clear — and we’re excited to help drive that mission forward.

Championing Inclusion with Autism Ontario – South Region

Autism Ontario – South Region works to ensure that people on the autism spectrum and their families have access to meaningful support, resources, and community connection — across every stage of life.

Their work includes advocacy, education, community events, and peer programs that foster understanding and break down barriers. With over 50 years of provincial experience, Autism Ontario remains one of the most trusted voices representing the autism community across Ontario — and right here in Niagara.

Their dedication to creating a more inclusive and equitable society is one that aligns deeply with our own values at CAA Niagara.
