Waves of Good: How Our Employees Make a Difference
1:54

It's the spirit of stepping forward. The choice to lend a hand, offer time, or share a skill. It's knowing that even small acts can create powerful ripples, touching lives in ways we may never fully see.

At CAA Niagara, volunteerism isn't just about events — it's about heart.

This National Volunteer Week (April 27–May 3, 2025), we're proud to join communities across Canada in celebrating the people who give their time and talent to make a difference. Organized by Volunteer Canada, National Volunteer Week is an annual opportunity to recognize the millions of volunteers who strengthen our country through service. This year’s theme, "Volunteers Make Waves," celebrates how volunteer efforts, big and small, create lasting impacts across our communities. You can learn more at volunteer.ca.

At CAA Niagara, we celebrate the spirit that drives our employees to make waves across our community. Whether committing to long-term mentorship, rallying for one-time initiatives, or simply showing up where help is needed, their dedication shines.

Every action — no matter the size — matters. It's a reflection of who we are: a community built on compassion, connection, and care.

In the past year alone, our employees have:
🌱 Planted trees in partnership with Heartland Forest for Earth Day
📚 Collected donations for Birchway’s Book Riot
🤝 Supported Community Boost projects
🏠 Helped build homes with Habitat for Humanity
🍴 Delivered meals and food support to those in need
🏋️‍♂️ Pulled trucks (literally!) for United Way
🧸 Mentored local youth through Big Brothers Big Sisters
🩸 Donated blood and plasma to save lives
🌍 Supported newcomer initiatives
and so much more!

To every employee who gives of themselves — thank you for leading with your heart.
Together, you create a current of kindness that lifts us all. 🌊

Happy National Volunteer Week!
