“Safe travels!” – it’s a phrase we’ve all said to someone before they head out on a trip. It’s also the top priority for Journeys by CAA Niagara.
Given the everchanging rules surrounding COVID-19, most people are easing their way back into the world of travel. One of the top concerns at the forefront of many minds right now is safety. To help travellers identify which local organizations have adopted standardized health and hygiene protocols, the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has partnered with the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario (TIAO) to create the Safe Travels Stamp. This stamp will provide peace of mind to those who plan to use the services offered by hotels, restaurants, tour operators, transportation providers, rental agencies, attractions and more.
As seasoned travel experts, the team at Journeys by CAA Niagara does everything to ensure you feel comfortable in your surroundings. Regardless of your destination, each tour is planned with care – abiding by a Safe Travel Commitment that is in place to ensure you can enjoy the journey of a lifetime. From pre-travel screenings and sanitary measures to physical distancing and face covering requirements, every element of safety has been considered to make for as positive of an experience as possible.
In addition to this certification, the WTTC & TIAO have launched the Safe Travels Stamp Awards. While many travel and tourism organizations meet the guidelines set by the WTTC, only 13 will have the distinction of taking home an award – which is where your help is needed.
