The Journeys by CAA Niagara team is a very passionate bunch. With nearly 50 years combined at CAA Niagara, they bring their love for travel and a world of experience to work with them every day. Whether it be near or far, you can always rely on their knowledge and expertise when it comes time to book a tour.
If you’ve joined CAA Niagara on a tour in the past, you may recognize some of our team. For those who have never travelled with us, get ready to meet the team who will help you you every step of the way as you prepare for the journey of a lifetime.
Lois Sarkisian, Manager, Group Tours
Lois has been a part of the CAA Niagara family for over 35 years. During this time she has gained an immense amount of travel experience, which has helped her plan trips all over the world. A detail-oriented person, Lois loves keeping a journal of notes and memories from each trip she takes. This not only allows her to relive great moments, it also helps her share stories with clients who are interested in an upcoming tour. Take Italy, for example. Despite visiting the country seven times, Lois keeps going back for more. Its delicious food, amazing culture and beautiful scenery have provided her with unique experiences each time.
Danielle Petura, Group Tour Coordinator
Danielle’s career in the travel industry began on an impulse. After seeing how happy coach tour passengers were following a trip to Niagara, she applied for her tour guide license and the rest is history. Danielle then became an independent step-on guide working with numerous companies and groups. She then joined CAA Niagara in January of 2011 and has since accompanied tours to destinations around the globe. One tour that stands out the most would be her trip to Iceland. While it wasn’t originally on her travel bucket list, Danielle feels that to understand travel, you must be open to new possibilities. As a proud recipient of a CAA Niagara Values Award, Danielle puts her all into ensuring you enjoy the trip you dreamed of.
Erin Clarke, Group Tour Coordinator
Erin has been a part of the CAA Niagara Group Tour team since the spring of 2018. Prior to joining CAA, Erin studied tourism at both Brock University and Humber College. She travelled broadly during her studies to destinations that include Uganda, France and Nicaragua. Erin’s favourite CAA tour to date is the Rhine River Cruise. The relaxed luxury and beautiful views of European landscape from the water provided an incredible experience for all. She hopes to travel to each continent and has only three more to go.
Rachel Golob, Group Tour Coordinator
Rachel’s time with CAA began in January 2019. A fan of adventure travel, some of her favourite destinations include Morocco, Myanmar and Japan. No matter the location, Rachel has plenty of great memories to look back on. Rachel has also explored our own beautiful country, making stops in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and British Columbia. She even lived in Whistler for two years giving her a new appreciation for the area. She hopes to cross off the rest of Canada in the near future.
