Driving with a G1 or G2 comes with its own rules. A few big ones:
For both G1 and G2 your blood-alcohol level must be zero and everyone in the car needs their own working seatbelt,
G1: you can’t drive alone, and you can’t drive between midnight and 5 a.m.
G2 (age 19 and under):
Between midnight and 5 a.m. you may have 1 passenger aged 19 or under for the first 6 months
After 6 months you can have up to 3 passengers aged 19 or under
