January 24, 2023 | Shanna Jarvis   ![iStock-1156806282](https://blog.caaniagara.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/iStock-1156806282.jpg?width=750&height=368&name=iStock-1156806282.jpg) CAA Niagara’s new home at the Pen Centre will be opening its doors to new opportunities for local small businesses in March 2023.   The [Pen Centre](https://www.thepencentre.com/) will be CAA Niagara’s second location with extended hours, allowing us to be more accessible to our Members and giving us more exposure to the thousands of residents in the Niagara region who shop at the Pen Centre each year.  ## Community is at the heart of everything we do  We recognize the important role our Branches can play in giving back and improving our [community](https://caaniagara.ca/community/community-boost), including the role we can play in assisting local businesses to succeed. In CAA Niagara’s newest Branch, we plan to open a multi-vendor Community Retail Space. CAA’s Community Retail Space will be a collaborative program designed to help Niagara-based businesses, currently operating outside the brick-and-mortar model, to spread awareness of their product(s), drive sales, grow their customer base and expose their brand to new consumers and audiences they may not have had a chance to access previously.  ## Vendors wanted ## ![iStock-1353393570](https://blog.caaniagara.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/iStock-1353393570.jpg?width=455&height=304&name=iStock-1353393570.jpg) We are looking for vendors that lead and share our core values of integrity, teamwork, service excellence, respect, and inclusivity.  **The program will launch with the following criteria from vendors: **  - Not already operating their own brick-and-mortar storefront   - Niagara based   - Non-perishable merchandise   - Tangible product, non-service based   - Existing social media accounts, blog (website a bonus )   - Can commit to a 1-year contract  **Benefits of being featured in our Community Retail Space:**  - Exposure in one of the busiest retail shopping centres in the Niagara Region   - Support from CAA (Canada's most trusted brand) - Driving awareness around your products and brand through CAA Niagara’s social media accounts, email and print campaigns - Creating lasting relationships with other local businesses, CAA Members and residents ## Applications are now open  If you are interested in having your product(s) featured in-store at our new Pen Centre location and think you would be a good fit please click the link below and fill out the application today. If selected, we will be in touch by the beginning of March 2023.  [![Apply Now!](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/3284067/45168586-524d-4278-9be7-cb30a664b417.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/3284067/45168586-524d-4278-9be7-cb30a664b417)   Tags: [Community](https://blog.caaniagara.ca/topic/community), [Community Boost](https://blog.caaniagara.ca/topic/community-boost), [Community Retail](https://blog.caaniagara.ca/topic/community-retail) [Tweets by CAA Niagara](https://twitter.com/caaniagara) ### Recent Posts - [Contact Us](https://caaniagara.ca/contact-us) - [About CAA Niagara](https://caaniagara.ca/about-caa) - [Annual Report](https://caaniagara.ca/AnnualReport2024) - [Board of Directors](https://caaniagara.ca/theboard) - [News & Media](https://caaniagara.ca/news) - [Careers](https://caaniagara.ca/careers) - [Terms & Conditions](https://caaniagara.ca/terms-and-conditions) - [Privacy Policy](https://caaniagara.ca/privacy-policy) - [Consumer Email Policy](https://caaniagara.ca/consumer-email-policy) - [AODA Customer Service Policy](https://caaniagara.ca/accessibility-standard) ![tico.ca](https://blog.caaniagara.ca/hubfs/Caaniagara_September2017/pdf/TICO-Logo.png) Ontario  Registration  #01381980 **Member Service** 1-800-263-7272 **Roadside Assistance** Niagara Region: 1-800-263-3616 Canada & US: 1-800-222-4357 or \*222 CAA Niagara serves Members in the Regional Municipality of Niagara.
