We're thrilled to announce the newest members of the CAA Niagara Community Boost family – The Niagara Foundation for Family and Children's Services (FACS Niagara Foundation) and the Toolbox Project Niagara! These incredible organizations were chosen as the 11th and 12th recipients of our Community Boost program, receiving a much-deserved boost to their amazing work.
The CAA Niagara Community Boost program is all about empowering local non-profits that make a real difference in the lives of Niagara residents. Each year, our employees get to choose two lucky organizations to receive a $10,000 donation, along with additional support, including:
- Volunteer power: Our CAA Niagara team is ready to roll up their sleeves and help with projects and initiatives.
- Marketing and fundraising support
- Tow truck fame: Their logos are proudly displayed on two brand new CAA Niagara tow trucks, raising awareness throughout the region.
Making a Difference in Niagara
We were so impressed by the dedication of both FACS Niagara Foundation and The Toolbox Project.
The FACS Niagara Foundation works tirelessly to support Family and Children's Services Niagara (FACS Niagara) in their mission to protect and empower children, youth, and families. They provide vital resources that help build strong and resilient futures.
The Toolbox Project addresses a critical need in our community by providing kits filled with everyday essentials to those experiencing homelessness in Niagara. Their kits offer a sense of dignity and comfort to those who might otherwise feel forgotten.
A Strong Community Partnership
"Both organizations demonstrate an unwavering dedication to supporting and empowering Niagara's most vulnerable, which deeply aligns with CAA Niagara's core values" said Peter Van Hezewyk, President and CEO of CAA Niagara, at the truck unveiling held on June 20. "We are proud to support their efforts and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will continue to make in our community."
