If you’re in need of an expert opinion for your next Canadian getaway look no further than CAA Niagara. As Niagara’s largest travel agency, we’ve assembled a team of experienced agents who have explored this country coast to coast. Their ventures have helped them create memories that will last a lifetime and they want to help you do the same. Check out our agents’ top three Canadian destinations below – who knows, you might even find yourself in one of these places in the near future.

Vancouver

Located on Canada’s west coast, Vancouver is home to the perfect balance of natural beauty and stunning skylines. The scenery that makes up this clean city includes mountain ranges that will leave you in awe, parks that are calling your name to explore them and a waterfront that leads to the rest of the world. If you are a nature lover, this place will not disappoint. Vancouver is also a city known for embracing its multiculturalism – which can be seen through some of its architecture and culinary options – giving you a bit of an international feel right in your homeland.

Halifax

Along the shorelines of the Atlantic Ocean is where you’ll find our next destination. Halifax is one of the most buzzing areas in Eastern Canada for a variety of reasons. Its boardwalk is famous for giving off positive vibes from the friendly locals, enthusiastic street performers and savoury seafood. Halifax is also rich in history, with sites that include Citadel Hill, Alexander Keith’s Brewery, Peggy’s Cove and countless lighthouses. We suggest visiting in late June/early July so that you can attend the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo – a major annual performing arts festival that is fun for the entire family.

Toronto

Just a short drive from Niagara is where you’ll find our final must-visit Canadian destination. As Canada’s most populated city, Toronto offers everything a tourist could ask for. Sporting events and concerts, shopping malls and restaurants, museums and galleries, the list of ways to stay entertained goes on and on. While it is known as a concrete jungle, it also offers access to the great outdoors. Not only can you sit back and relax in its many parks, you can also hop on a boat ride to Toronto Island – allowing you to escape the city for the day.
