What is the CAA Niagara Mobile Battery Service Program

With winter just around the corner, it is time to take the necessary steps to ensure that your car is safe and ready for the winter weather! The CAA Niagara Mobile Battery Service Program is your go-to service. We will test, replace, and recycle your old battery on the roadside, at your home, or at your office. With our battery service, you can purchase a new CAA Battery right on the spot if necessary.

The Convenience

With CAA’s on-site battery replacement, location is never an issue. Whether you are at home, in the office, or on the side of the road CAA has your back. It doesn’t matter if your car’s battery needs to be charged or replaced, our well-experienced drivers can do both. Our roadside assistance crew comes prepared with a new CAA Battery (just in case you need it). If you do need to purchase a new battery CAA Members save $25 on a CAA battery. In addition to this, CAA Batteries are backed by a 3-year full warranty. If your CAA Battery fails within the first 3 years, we will give you a free replacement. A lead car battery usually lasts for three - six years depending on a range of factors, making our discount and warranty a fiscally responsible purchase.

Environmentally Responsible

Once we have replaced your battery our Mobile Battery Service will ensure to dispose of your old battery properly and responsibly at no additional cost to you. At CAA we believe in sustainability which is why we ensure that your battery is recycled properly to keep up with our green initiatives.

Winter-Specific Tips to Extend the Life of Your Car Battery

  • Make sure your car battery is healthy you can schedule a battery test with your CAA Niagara Membership
  • Avoid parking outside as the cold and moisture will deteriorate your car battery
  • Drive your car, driving your car a couple of times a week allows the alternator to charge the battery replenishing the power that was used to start the car and lost from the cold
  • Charging your battery if you are unable to take your car for multiple drives a week
  • Clean your battery, a buildup of dirt and grime can prevent the flow of electricity within your battery

The Importance of Regular Battery Maintenance and Testing

Whether you are a part CAA Niagara Mobile Battery Service Program or not, it’s never fun to have your battery die on you, especially in the frigid winter. This is why it is important to regularly ensure your battery is in working condition. Staying on top of checking your battery also allows you to charge or replenish your battery before it dies on you.  Do not wait for winter to come, it is time to think ahead.
