In need of a family vacation? Blue Mountain Village Resort may be just what you are looking for! This all-season destination nestled on the shores of Georgian Bay is an ideal mix of unspoiled nature and comfort. Not only does this alpine style village have countless hiking trails and year-round outdoor adventures for the whole family, its accommodations, restaurants and shops are all centrally located for easy access. Here is what you can expect should you visit Blue Mountain Village this summer.

Accommodations

Whether you are looking for a hotel-style property, a boutique hotel, or a private home, Blue Mountain's selection of accommodations offer something to suit your needs. The Blue Mountain Inn is a fantastic option close to all the action. Comfort, value and service provide guests with upgraded rooms and amenities featuring a bright, modern cottage look and feel. Facilities include a workout room, sauna, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, and an indoor pool. The Blue Mountain Inn is also dog-friendly - so feel free to bring your four-legged friend along for the trip!

Activities

Make the most of your stay and plan out your days ahead of time. Spend the day playing on Blue Mountain's summer attractions, exploring the extensive 34km trail network, or for the truly ambitious, a bit of both. The Play-All-Day Pass is your ticket to access all the different options Blue Mountain has to offer, all day long. There are so many to choose from, so we've highlighted some of our favourites to help get you started. Which ones will you choose?

For those looking for a more relaxed day, take in the surrounding area with stunning views from above on the Open-Air Gondola or cruise through the Mill Pond Activity Centre on a paddle boat ride. If you're more into thrill-seeking experiences, the Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster will glide you along 1 km of track and tour the terrain with speeds up to 42 km/h. Another activity highlight at Blue is the Cascade Putting Course. Kids and adults can test their golfing skills at the putting course which offers bunkers and water hazards just like a full-size course.

Dining & Entertainment

Blue Mountain, Collingwood, Thornbury and the surrounding region are host to a wide assortment of restaurants, bakeries, eateries, and cafes. If you are looking for a way to please the taste buds, Blue Mountain's eateries are the answer. Whether you are a family looking to enjoy a quick meal or a couple looking for dinner and drinks, this unique collection of restaurants and bars has something for everyone.
